I say I’m never falling in love again, and I mean it.

People keep staring at me like I was some sort of strange creature, like I’m not understanding something crucial that’s gonna keep me from living life to the fullest.

They don’t get I’m already doing that.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, and I’m ok with that, but I’m never falling in love again because I’m not ready to compromise what I want from this life.

I’m not willing to negotiate just to ease the loneliness.

And I’m not willing to cut the wings of anyone, anymore, either.

I want to live life to the fullest, I want to drink it all, puke it and then drink it some more. And I can’t see me finding someone who’s willing to share that desire about trying it all, testing it all, doing it all, living it all.

I’m not willing to compromise my will to live.

I’d rather a lonely full life, than an empty mimic of one with someone.
