My apologies to those who find the destructured manner of my writing maddening. I, too, sometimes just want a site I can find my answer, cut-and-paste and move on. Other times, I enjoy a writer whose thoughts are organized, compacted and succinct, getting to the point and leaving out the fluff. Then there are works of art, sometimes to my liking and sometimes not, that are entertaining to those who enjoy meandering along the side roads to get to their knowledge destinations. If you’re in the mood for this, read on! 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️

Later, as these ISP giants took over the market, it seemed like these smaller companies might end up folding, and many did. Some of those that survived were squeezed out of the business over time, the few that survived have survived through a combination of having a user base that liked things the way that they are, specializing in co-location and server maintenance expertise for business and organizations and consulting in areas of network and server maintenance.

As a freelance web designer I have worked on all the major “cheap” hosts and they leave a lot to be desired. Issues like random down times, slow response to bugs and software updates, backdoor hacks on servers shared by thousands of users and a general feeling that if I didn’t like the way they did things, I could move on. But, I digress, I don’t mean to sound like an advertisement.
