Cop Or Gang?

I was sitting at my office, at the police station. Everything was calm my boss was on the phone, and my friend/partner was typing up some stuff on the computer. My boss started talking louder. Within seconds he yelled their was a murder, running around a few miles from us. Me and my partner jumped up out of our seat, and ran to out car. She drove us to this dark alley, right when I was stepping out of the car she didn’t move. I told her to get up we got to go catch him, she chickened out on me and I had to go alone. Our chief always said we weren’t aloud to do missions alone, we had to stick with out partner at all times. Looks like we can’t tell him about this... I walked down the alley a little scared, but I knew I coouldn’t show fear. I dusted myself off real fast, and grabbed my gun from my belt. I turned the corner with my gun in the hand, and stood there watching his moves. He was shuffling through a dumpster in the back. I yelled, "Put your hands up criminal!". He chuckled and turned around. I stood there pointing my gun at him, while he walked over. I then told him again to raise his hand above his head. He didn’t listen and kept walking. Once he got near me he, picked up a bat laying on the floor, which I didn’t notice. He then held the bat in hands, and told me to raise my hands. I yelled, "Drop the weapond NOW!" He didn’t budge so I told him, I will have to shoot him if he doesn’t do as I say. I didn’t move, nor did he. Seconds later, he said I will hit while holding the bat. I had to take matter in my own hands, I shot next to his foot. He jumped and dropped the bat. I thought to myself while cuffing him, what kind of criminal jumps to a gunshot. We walked to the car, he struggled a little trying get out of my grasp. I pushed him in the back seat, and hopped in the front. My partner was saying how sorry she was that she didn’t help. I told her it was fine, just don’t do it again. She asked me if it was easy to catch him. I responded with, "He put up a little fight, but nothing I can’t handle." He rolled his eyes and said, "Since you were a girl, I thought you wouldn’t put up much of a fight." I yelled, "Silence!". He annoyed me with that smart remark, after responding to him he kept quiet. We got to the police station, I got him out of the car and brought him into a questioning room. I told him I would be back in a minute. Before leaving I handcuffed him, to the table for safety. I left and talked to the chief. About a half hour later, I went back in. I sat down in the chair in front of him. He had his head on the table, I could tell he was annoyed. I began with simple questions. He lifted his head up, then rolled his eyes at me. I snarled and asked for his name. He looked me directly in the eye, and said "Oliver Fernick". I knodded in and went to go grab his files, if he had any. When I was searching through the files name, I saw he had a bunch of files. This night was going to be long. I entered the room with a box of his files, and sat down again. I questioned him about all his files, and his newest arrest. He knodded the whole time, and didn’t say a word. I asked if he had murdered this girl, that he was accused of. He stared emotionless and said yes. I was startled of how fast he admited to it. Oliver, started cracking up. I leaned back in my chair, confused. He kept laughing and laughing, his laughs turned into growls, he leaned his head back staring at the roof. I turned my walkie tockie on, and told my chief "I don’t think this guy should be in jail, he seems he should be in a asylum". The guy looked at me angrily when I said that. He started to try to rip his handcuffs off the table, but failed and slammed his head on the table. I was started that he just hit his head that hard, on a metal table. I told him to stop acting childish, and respond respectfully to my questions. He lifted his head up and had a gash on his head, he smiled and knodded. This guy is crazy, I walked out and told the chief he needs a doctor. The chief asked what happened, I then filled him in on everything. He called up a doctor, the doctor came withing minutes and patched his head up. Once he left I went back in. I sat back down, I then said "Since you are causing too much trouble today, I’m taking you to your cell and questioning, will be finished tomorrow. He smirked, as I was uncuffing him from the table. Everything happened so fast, right when I uncuffed him he swing the handcuffs at my face and knocked me down. I layed on the ground, I was starting to get up until he kicked me back down. He grabbed my pistol from my belt and picked me back up holding it to my head. The cuffs were swinging around his wrists as he held the gun to my head. Tears started falling down my cheaks, and begging him to let me go. He chuckled, and grabbed the cuff yes and uncuffed himself, then cuffed me. We got to the door, and he kicked the door open. 5 police officers stood there with guns in hand. He said, "I will pull this trigger and she will die, let me go and everything is fine." They all gave up fast, and lowered their weapons. We go to the door, to the outside. I was hoping one of them would shoot him when we go to the door, but Oliver was smart and he turned around and exited. We got to my car, he ripped the keys out of my pocket, and pushed me in the back, while he hopped jn the drivers seat. He started the car, flipped the sirens on and drove for hourse. I was crying in the back, with my hands behind my back. I’m helpless, I sat in the back of the cop car, with a criminal kidnapping me. He pulled over on the side of the freeway, clearly annoyed. Then he started to shuffle through the glove box, he opened the window between the front and back, and taped my mouth shut with duct tape. Once we got back on the freeway far from the police station, he flipped the sirens off, and turned music on really loud. Hours and hours later we arrived at this house. I was terrified, I froze when he got out of the car. A few other guys came out and started talking, to him in front of the car. They were laughing, and kept looking at me sitting in the back all teary eyed. One of them came over and opened my door, they ripped of my duct tape and said "Get Up." I stood up shakey, and another came over and wrapped their arm around me, helping me stand. They all walked up to the front door and entered. When we entered the house I looked around, there were guns everywhere. At that moment I realized a gang kidnapped me. The one who helped me walk up sat me on the couch. They all walked to the kitchen and were talking. I heard Oliver say something about me helping them, get closer to my chief. Why would they kidnap me to get close to the chief, what could he have done, that made a gang hate him? I kept listening to them talk, but found out nothing more. Oliver walked out with a sandwhich on a plate. He sat on the coffee table in front of me. He said' "If I handcuff you, you may not get up or run, you are to stay here till were done with you." I knodded, he grabbed the keys and took the cuffs off, I shook my hands off, they hurt since he put the cuffs on too tight. He passed me the sandwhich and walked upstair without saying a thing. I ate the food, hoping I wasn’t gonna be poisned. This tall man with green hair, walked up to me with a bottle of water and sat on the couch. He offered me the water, and I accepted it. He asked if I knew who Vinny Trabely was. I said "Yes, he is the chief at the police station." He thought to himself for a minute, then disted him self off. He said "Do you know where he lives?" I was startled at the question, and I told him it is in the system. He asked if I knew how to get to the system on his laptop. I said I did, he got up and grabbed a laptop from a table across the room. He sat the laptop on my legs and gave me the password. I logged in and went to the system page, and logged in there. He grabbed the laptop, and walked upstairs with the address. About a half hour later all the guys were dressed in clothes that wouldn’t get them noticed, they all left. I was guessing they were going after Vinny. Right when they left I thought it was a great chance to escape. I headed to the door until a man who was really tall, with pink hair. I noticed a of them had their hair dyed. The guy stood in between me and the door, and said "You’re not leaving just yet." I aalked backwards to the couch, scared that he might hit me. He sat next to me and picked up a remote. It looked like a tv remote but there was not a tv in sight. He clickef a button and two pictures slid, and uncovered a tv looking thing. After clicking a few more buttons it showed a tracking screen of 5 dots running near Vinny’s house. I sighed and leaned back, I then asked him why they wanted to go after Vinny. He chuckled, they all laugh too much I thought to myself. He said "Vinny is not all you think he is." I asked him what he meant. He responded with, "Vinny isn’t a good guy, he killed Oliver’s little sister when they were younger." I frowned at the thought, of loosing a family member, I swirled the water in the bottle around staying silent. The man looked at me and said, "We don’t hurt the good, just the bad, but we needed you to get to Vinny." I layed back on the couch and closed my eyes, I was confused if they were good or bad, I fell asleep on the couch. I woke up to all the guys walking in and talking loud. Oliver said, "We’ll let the girl go tomorrow, since she helped enough." I smiled and went back to sleep. The next morning came prettu fast. I am still shocked, that they would let me go this soon. Oliver came in with the pink and green men. Theh stood in front of me and said, "You can go, but if you say anything about where we are you are in trouble." I looked at the floor and said, "What if I don’t want to go." Oliver stood in front of me confused, and asked why would I want to stay. I told him what the pink dude told me, and how I though hurting bad people would be more fun than just arresting them. They all 3 smiled and said "Well looks like we got our first girl in the gang."........ Let’s fast forward, years later... I’m still in the gang to this day. I haven’t been hurt or anything since I joined which was a good sign. This may seem weird, but I fell in love with Oliver, yes Oliver was my kidnapped, but love is love. Were married and have a son, that were raising to take over the gang. I never went back to my old job, and we have never been caught. Our gang has expanded since I joined. Two other girls joined and guess what, they are both dating one of the members. Life is pretty perfect, weird but perfect to me. I wouldn’t change a thing that has happened.was sitting at my office, at the police station.
