I am a new writer and have been posting my articles on Medium since January 2021. Until October, I was posting one story per week. Since November, I started posting two stories per week and it drastically changed the view I am getting on my stories.

I am still in the learning phase and trying different things to find what is going to work and what is not. If you are a new writer and haven’t figured out anything or are looking for another perspective on how you can become a productive content creator without burning yourself — read this article and I am sure you will find one or two useful things.

I have seen many creators giving advice on writing 20 or more articles per month, it’s a lot of articles and almost every day you need to publish to keep up the numbers. If you are a part-time writer, this number can be an overreach.

I think publishing 1–2 articles per week is good to get your rhythm and find what you like in writing. Once you get it, you will be able to produce more.

Writing more is not just about writing. It’s about reading more. I am sure hardly anyone gives this advice.

But I feel if I read more I generate more ideas and my articles become more informational and knowledgeable. I gain value from my books and articles I read every day.

I usually spend nearly an hour reading and spending time to note down my learning or anything that I find useful and can help me with my writing.
